I am pretty sure these flowers are not impatiens…I just got impatient trying to ID them. They are tiny, maybe about half an inch in diameter at most…maybe someone else can figure out what they are.

When I woke up this morning my back was killing me…I think I might need to get some…

Playing around with the “food box” again.

A few weeks ago I bought a refurbished iPhone. The a week later they released the details on the new model. One of the major upgrades was a better camera. Man I should have waited…but wait! They have a 30 day exchange policy!! The day after the new model came out I walked into the AT&T store and plopped my “old” iPhone on the counter and told the guy “I would like to return this piece of junk”. He said “OK, but we are sold out of the new ones.” Curses!! “But I can order you one and you just return the old one when the new one comes in.” Score!! So tonight I picked up my brand new Black 16gb 3Gs. I figured I should give the camera a test drive, so here is a low light close focus pic…I think it is not too bad considering the conditions.

Tonight I tried out a new lighting idea I read about this week. Since I still have a lot to learn about lighting I am not sure that I would have ever thought of putting the light behind the subject, but I really like how it works for this shallot.

I recently bought myself a new camera lens. To offset the cost I decided to sell a couple of my old lens. To get a feel for the going rate I checked ebay and craigslist. So I am looking through all these ads for camera gear and I noticed that there are an abundance of really poor pictures of the “product”. So I am hoping that my ads will have decent pics…

BTW…anyone want to buy a lens?

This is something you will not see too often…a pic of my kid. Tonight we have a picture of her new boots. In case you didn’t know it isn’t easy to find boots that don’t have some kind of leather in them, so my vegan kid was pretty excited to get these for her birthday.
